Senior personnel of China&#8217;s national health commission revealed on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The senior health commission official told the state media that the experimental Covid-19 trial vaccine was approved on 22 July.<\/p>\n<p>Zheng Zhongwei is the director of the Science and Technology Department. Its new name is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dcvmn.org\/_China-National-Biotec-Group-Company-Limited_\">China National Biotec Group Company<\/a> which comes under China&#8217;s Health Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>The vaccine has reached phase 3 of the clinical trials. It has been tested in Peru, UAE, Morocco, and some other countries too.<\/p>\n<p>A vaccine passes multiple stages tests before it is actually implemented on humans and be available commercially.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Pre-Clinical<\/strong>: The vaccine is tested on animals and carefully observed if it induces an immune response in the body of the animal.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phase 1<\/strong>: It is given to the small group of people including an experimental group and a control group. Mostly, there are approximately 50 people in it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phase 2<\/strong>: It is tested on hundreds of humans to see the immune response, the dosage quantity as well as the safe limit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phase 3<\/strong>: It is given to thousands of people to see the safety and any side effects. This is the stage where China&#8217;s new trial vaccine on Doctors has been tested.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Implementation<\/strong>: This is the final stage of vaccine development. The vaccine is approved for use on a public scale. FDA approved it after critical analysis.
