As per the new poll by Globe Scan, huge differences of opinions were observed by citizens all over the world over the growing concern of climate change.<\/p>\n

This issue needs to be addressed quickly by the authorities, but a strange response was witnessed by the respondents towards the issue.<\/p>\n

A large number of people in poorer countries agreed with fighting climate change with the same zeal as Covid-19<\/a>. However, in richer countries, people showed no real interest in the growing concern.<\/p>\n

Although the world is still struggling against COVID 19 and most importantly in an economic context. A poll carried out by Globescan showed people around the world were found to be more concerned regarding climate change.<\/p>\n

Almost \u00a090% of respondents claimed climate change as one of the most serious issues.<\/p>\n

In 2014 when the same poll was done with people from the United States only 60% believed that this is a serious problem. Whereas in June 2020 this percentage increased to 81% despite Trump’s apprehensions for this issue.<\/p>\n

Even in India, the figure has increased from 70-93% as people expressed deep concern.<\/p>\n
