WHO (Accidentally) Confirms Covid is No More Dangerous Than Flu

Category:

The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed what many experts have been saying for months – that sars-cov2 is no more dangerous or “more lethal” than seasonal flu.

The “best estimates” of the Head of the “Emergency” Program within the WHO show a death rate of 0.14%

The WHO leadership made the announcement during a special meeting of the 34-member executive bureau. This meeting took place on 5 October 2020.

No one in the press reported what happened. In fact, it seems that the WHO did not report either.

During the meeting, Dr Michael Ryan, director of the WHO’s Emergency Department, said they believed that about 10% of the world’s population had become infected with sars-cov2. This is their “best estimate.” This estimate is much higher than the official number of cases (approximately 35 million).

Dr Margaret Harris, one of the WHO spokespersons, confirmed the estimate, saying it was based on the average results of all seroprevalence studies worldwide.

Even if the WHO tried to present this information as a bad thing – Dr. Ryan even said that this would mean that “the vast majority of the world remains in danger” – it is actually good news. And it confirms, once again, that the virus is not at all as “lethal” as everyone predicted.

The global population is about 7.8 billion people. If 10% were infected, that means 780 million cases. The overall death toll attributed to Sars-Cov-2 infections at the time of the announcement (back in October) was 1,061,539.

This is a mortality rate of approximately 0.14%. Almost the same as seasonal flu.

0.14% is more than 24 times lower than the “provisional figure” given by the WHO in March, of 3.4%. This figure was used in the models based on which states of emergency were given and various draconian policies were implemented.

In fact, given the excessive reporting of alleged Covid deaths, the mortality rate is probably even less than 0.14%, and could make Covid look much less dangerous than the flu.
