Bill Gates is not a medical doctor, nor a virologist, but that doesn’t stop him to be THE “authoritative” voice in the “fight” against covid. A third dose of covid vaccine may be needed to prevent serious cases of the new variant of the disease, Bill Gates said on Tuesday.
The comments of the billionaire and the world’s first vaccinator come amid concerns that current vaccines are less effective against South African and Brazilian variants, according to CBS News.
Pfizer and Moderna stated that their vaccines are 95% and 99% effective against the original strain of COVID, respectively. Some scientists have questioned these claims. In addition, the World Health Organization and vaccination companies have recognized that vaccines do not prevent people from becoming infected with COVID or transmitting the virus, and serums are only effective in reducing symptoms.
“The point now is that we need to get super-effective coverage of the current vaccine. Or if we need a third dose or if we need a modified vaccine?” Gates told CBS Evening News.
“All five vaccine companies in the United States are looking to make that change, so that people who have already received two doses will need a third,” said Bill Gates. “I think it’s very likely that we have an optimized vaccine just to make sure that as these variants hit the US, they don’t get rid of immunization protection,” says the pro-vaccine billionaire.
Gates is funding studies in South Africa to determine whether AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Novavax vaccines have been equally effective against the more contagious variant, CBS notes.
“Gates continues to move the goalposts,” said Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., president and chief adviser to Childrenshealthdefense. “Meanwhile, the strategies he and others have promoted are destroying the global economy, demolishing the middle class, enriching the rich, and censoring the voices of those who speak of vaccine insecurity, as is my case.”
Gates and vaccine manufacturers are proposing a life of non stop vaccination, something akin to Microsoft’s software updates. Which obviously is huge business for Big Pharma.
