Louis Vuitton Now Selling Luxury Face Shield

Category:

It’s hard to look at the picture and not smile at the latest trend in fashion, i.e. one of the biggest names in the industry selling a luxury face shield. With the governments still pushing the coronavirus pandemic extravaganza, Louis Vuitton is now trying to make money on a relatively untapped niche, as they are planning to sell an uber-expensive face shield for fashion conscious ( and very scared) people.

The high end protective face gear is pretty stylish for a plastic shield of sorts, because despite the marketing, that’s what it really is; dubbed LV Shield, this plastic shield will most probably drain at least $100 from your bank account, though its official price has not been made public yet.

However, we know that other luxury brands like Burberry and Off-White are already selling face masks with logos in vintage check cotton design and all that, which retail for $115, give or take. The face shield from Louis Vuitton uses a photochromic  plastic that transitions from clear to dark in sunlight, and comes with golden studs engraved with Louis Vuitton’s brand name and an elastic, monogrammed headband.

Other head wear from Louis Vuitton sell for hundreds of dollars, stuff like sunglasses and hats, so most likely you’ll have to pay at least a couple hundred bucks for the LV Shield. The face shield will hit retails stores starting on October 30, provided the pandemic is not over until then, and the question is, how soon we’ll be forced to wear a face shield and/or goggles by the good old government.

Pass a law, create a business has never been truer than today.
