About 110 people in Mexico have had allergic reactions to the Pfizer / BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine, a federal health official said on Monday. Among them is Karla Cecilia Pérez Osorio, a 32-year-old doctor from Monclova, Coahuila, who suffered a severe allergic reaction after receiving the vaccine on December 30 and needed treatment for intensive care. The case is being investigated, said López Ridaura, informs Mexiconewsdaily.
The head of the Mexican Social Security Institute, Víctor Hugo Borja Pérez, said the woman, who had already contracted Covid-19 in April (so why the vaccine?), had seizures and encephalomyelitis, an inflammation of the brain and spinal cord after receiving a dose of Covid vaccine.
She was transferred to a specialized hospital in Monterrey, Nuevo León and gradually recovered. Her muscle strength has improved and she is now “awake and conscious”. According to the press, the doctor suffered a series of convulsions, in addition to rashes, weakness and difficulty breathing, within half an hour of receiving the vaccine.
“Twenty minutes after vaccination, she developed an allergic reaction characterized by swelling of the tongue and lips and a rash on the throat and chest. A doctor gave him a medicine that immediately allowed him to recover from these symptoms “,
said Borja. She was transferred to Monterrey Hospital on December 31 and continued to have several seizures on January 1, before undergoing plasma treatment known as plasmapheresis.
“This is how the liquid part of the blood is extracted and the antibodies [viruses] are eliminated and this reduces the possible allergic reaction caused by the antibodies”
Borja said.
He added that all vaccines have the potential to cause side effects, explaining that in rare cases the effects can be serious. Serious adverse reactions to the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine have been reported in other countries that have started its administration.
It would come as no surprise if the vaccine were more dangerous than the virus. Of course we would never suffer the exposure of such information. After all, the mainstream media is bought and paid for by Big Pharma, their by-far biggest advertiser.
